My Favorite Sites

First and foremost – I have met a mom that is apart of the ‘club no one wants to be apart of.’  We both worked at Kohl’s but never knew each other.  Yet, our sons died within weeks of each other.  Here is a link to her blog.  Show her the same love you all have shown me over the past weeks.  She is an amazing writer and above all, an amazing mother and woman.

I’m an idea junky … I can’t stop searching for cute ideas and fun new things to try (recipes, crafts, projects, etc).  Now that I’m a stay at home mom, I’ve found a few great blogs and sites.  I’ve been tweeting and posting them to facebook, however thought I’d start to bookmark them here too! If you’ve got a favorite blog/site not listed, please send it my way!

  1. Hello, I hope you don’t mind if I list my own Blog. I am trying to reach the everyday PC user with helpful tips and advice to keep their computers safe from virus attacks, spyware, and junk programs. I have a lot of positive feedback from my customers in the local area about how I make it easier to understand what to do to make using the internet safer for them. My blog is at

    Hi Mel,
I am an old friend of Marcy Shaefers. I have been praying for you and your entire family. I just wanted to let you know that you are my hero. I think you are amazing. The things you write are so honest and moving. I don’t live near you but if you ever needed anything I would be at the ready to help in any way. I know that sounds trivial…but I feel like I need to repay you in some way for affecting me the way you have by your writing. You are an inspiration. Stay strong. My prayers are always with you.

  3. Hello,
My name is Lorraine, married with three wonderful kidos. When you get the chance please take a look at my blog/website & see if it’s something you may want to add to your favorite sites. I’m an Independent Consultant for Scentsy and this is a great work at home opportunity for any mom. You can set your own hours and best of all it’s a great wickless candle system. I use it myself and just love it. I’m always available to talk to any mommy who is looking to make some extra money while being able to focus on their family. Thank you for your time!
