Bissing Family Baby Shower

The long awaited Bissing baby shower was this past Sunday.  What a perfect day … the weather was gorgeous and the company was amazing!

We got a little bit of a late start, but Mom, Rachael, Jaden and I all arrived in GB just before all the ladies arrived.  We eat our lunches outside in the shade.  Including adorable blue stork cookies and blue cupcakes!  All the women were given a handmade bracelet.  There were three different color pearls to symbolize the triplets and each bracelet had a charm on it that had a wish from Pam for her grandchildren.  She spoiled me with a bracelet and matching necklace and earings.  They were a hit!

Each lady brought a letter/story or poem about their mother or mother figure in their lives.  Some were short and sweet while other made me cry.  I’m SO emotional!  haha  I’ve got them all to scrapbook into a wonderful memory.  And of course, Pam spoiled me again with lots of scrapbook accessories to start me out.

Then each person addressed an envelope and we held prize drawings while opening up gifts.  The door prizes were themed after what women love … shopping, dinner dates, spas, chocolate, etc.  We got many wonderful gifts!  TONS of diapers and wipes.  Both Doug and I are so thankful for everyone’s thoughtfulness!  We’ve got a great start to welcoming these triplets!

Sherri was the official photographer … below is a link to some of the photos from the day.

Just like my wedding speech … I’m proud to be a BISSING!

Love, Mel
